Bling Bling Meets the Alzheimer's Relic No 3

This work is about facile values being confronted with something that is seemingly similar in appearance. But when we realise that the relic has been assembled from objects collected by an Alzheimer’s sufferer we may need to reconsider many values that are in society today. The Chihuahua dogs are a metaphor for a section of society today, and for various reasons, they seem to be totally oblivious of their faults. The remaining cast marks on the dogs represent the imperfections that they cannot see but we can. The photographic image is a reminder of what has happened in the past and will no doubt occur again in the future.
