Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition
This work is a trophy pastiche, which both builds and undermines an easy answer as to the role of religion in war. Whilst the fearless laughing Buddha matches the strength of the glorifying base of the work, the precarious balancing act nevertheless is a reminder and warning of the need for love and less greed.
