Three Steps to Nivarna

This work continues the artist’s interest in the illusion of our desires. The Buddhist pig, symbolic of ignorance, one of the three illusions that stop us reaching Nirvana, becomes an ironic pedestal for an abundance of domesticated laughing Buddha’s, that fearlessly remind us in three easy and purified white steps not to be greedy.
